Help & FAQ

Everything you need to go from a raw feedback export to a branded, board-ready dashboard — usually in the time it takes to make a coffee.

Quickstart: from export to deck in four steps

You don't install anything and you don't write a single formula. Have a feedback export ready (a CSV or XLSX) and you're four steps from a finished dashboard.

  1. Pick your brand. On the start screen, choose your brand colour and drop in your logo. Everything VoC builds — on-screen and in the deck — picks up your colours straight away.
  2. Drop an export. Drag a CSV or XLSX onto the upload area, or click to browse. Trustpilot, Bazaarvoice, an NPS survey, Google reviews, App Store, Play Store — VoC recognises the shape and maps the columns for you.
  3. Watch it build. The branded, interactive dashboard assembles in front of you: scores, trends, themes, the standout quotes, and the so-whats. No waiting on an analyst, no overnight job.
  4. Export a deck. One click turns the live view into a board-ready presentation in your colours — ready to drop into the next review.

Want to see the finished article first? Open the live sample dashboard — it's the real interactive output, built from anonymised feedback.

Supported sources and formats

VoC reads the standard CSV and XLSX exports those platforms already give you. You don't need to reshape, rename columns, or clean anything up first — drop the file as it comes out of the source.

The short version: if your tool can export a spreadsheet with the customers' comments in it, VoC can almost certainly read it. New sources are added regularly — if yours isn't listed, send a sample header row to support@voc.example and we'll tell you straight away whether it works.

What makes a clean import

Where is my data processed?

In your browser. That's the whole answer, and it's the part we're most proud of.

When you drop in an export, the customer comments are parsed on your own machine and used to build the dashboard right there. They are never uploaded to or stored on VoC's servers — there is no application database holding your feedback. Close the tab and the parsed file is gone.

The only things that live on our side are the bits an account needs to exist: your email, a hashed password, your brand-kit settings, and billing metadata. Nothing about your customers, nothing they wrote.

If you switch on the optional AI write-up, the comment text is scrubbed of personal details first, and only the de-identified text is sent to generate the narrative. You can read exactly what happens, when, and with whom on our Data protection page.

Frequently asked questions

Formats & imports

Which file types can I upload? CSV and XLSX — the standard exports from the sources listed above.

Do I have to clean or rename the columns first? No. VoC detects the source and maps the columns for you. If something looks off, you can adjust the mapping before the dashboard builds.

How much data can it handle? Comfortably tens of thousands of comments in a single file. Because parsing runs in your browser, very large files lean on your own machine rather than a server — for the biggest jobs, a recent laptop and a modern browser help.

My source isn't in the list — am I stuck? Probably not. Any tidy CSV/XLSX with a comment column tends to work. Send a sample header row to support@voc.example and we'll confirm.

Languages

Does VoC understand feedback in other languages? Yes. Customers write in their own language and VoC reads the comments as they are. The optional AI write-up can summarise multi-language feedback too.

Can the dashboard and deck be in a specific language? The interface ships in English today, with more languages on the way. Your customers' comments always appear in their original wording.

Multi-market

I run several countries — can I see them separately? Yes. If your export has a market or country column, VoC splits the dashboard by market automatically, so you can compare side by side or zoom into one.

Can I combine several exports? Yes — load them in and VoC builds one consolidated view across the lot.

White-labelling

Can I put my own brand on it? That's the default. Set your colour and logo once on the start screen and every dashboard and exported deck carries your brand — no VoC logo plastered across your board pack.

Can different teams use different brand kits? Yes. Each seat keeps its own brand settings, which is handy for agencies and groups running multiple fascias.

Exporting

What does the export look like? A board-ready slide deck in your colours — the cover, the headline scores, the trends, the themes, and the so-whats, ready to present. The on-screen dashboard stays fully interactive for digging in live.

Can I share a link instead of a file? The deck export is the headline format today. If a shareable live link would help your workflow, tell us at support@voc.example — we prioritise by what people actually ask for.

Trials & billing

How does the free trial work? 14 days, full features, no credit card. Build real reports during the trial and keep what you make.

How is it priced? A simple per-seat subscription. See current pricing on the home page, or ask sales@voc.example about team and group plans.

Who handles payments? Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.

Can I cancel any time? Yes — see the Terms for the specifics.

Security & privacy

Is my customer feedback safe? Your customers' comments are parsed in your browser and are never stored on our servers. There's simply no database of feedback for anyone to breach.

How are accounts protected? Passwords are stored only as a strong PBKDF2 hash — never in the clear. Sessions use httpOnly, SameSite cookies, and we keep only a hash of the session token, never the token itself.

Where is VoC hosted? On Cloudflare's EU edge. Our sub-processors are Cloudflare (hosting) and Stripe (billing); the optional AI write-up adds one model provider, used only on de-identified text. The full picture is on our Data protection page.

Are you GDPR-aware? Yes — we're EU-based and built privacy-first from the start. For data-subject requests, processing details, or a DPA, see Data protection or contact privacy@voc.example.

Still stuck?
